Eric Prydz headlines the Together Winter Music festival at London’s Alexandra Palace on November 26. The prolific Swedish DJ & Producer will present his incredible EPIC (Eric Prydz In Concert) audio/visual show to an audience of 10,500. Nearly all the tickets have already gone with only 500 remaining, and they are expected to sell out within a matter of days.
Eric debuted the EPIC show earlier this year with an inaugural sold out performance at Brixton Academy in April. The show, which features a unique 30 metre installation that extends from the stage out into the crowd (with a build time of 3 days), also wowed crowds at Global Gathering festival in the summer. It also sees one of the first uses of holograms in a live music show environment, in addition to 3D animation, rotational mapping and film that is mapped onto the sets moving and static structures.
Eric said: “I wanted a new show that expressed my music in a visual context. I want to push the boundaries of a live electronic music show with technology that hasn’t been used before and to give my fans an experience that they will never forget”.
Alexandra Palace is the perfect venue for EPIC’s huge structure, allowing the full, mind-blowing effect of the installation to be seen. Take a look at EPIC in action:
During the show, Eric will be playing tracks from his vast back catalogue, including those under his guises of Pryda and Cirez D, along with exclusive Eric Prydz edits and remixes (such has hugely celebrated Depeche Mode remixes/bootlegs). Joining Eric on the bill are a plethora of the biggest names in dance music today, including: Pete Tong, John Digweed, Simian Mobile Disco, Chris Lake, Fake Blood, Fenech Soler and many more.
Eric is currently working on his debut artist album. We will announce further details in due course.
