Speaking of ‘I Love You Money’, Rolling Stone Magazine said“…supercharges our summer with her saccharine single. Is it an anti-consumerist anthem or a pro-capitalist smash? Hey! Woo! Who cares!”
The track is taken from her forthcoming debut album ‘We Loved Her Dearly’
Beguiling fans and critics with her debut EP “I Killed Sarah V.” with her bold blend of pop that fearlessly broaches topics usually incongruent with popular music, Lowell writes to empower herself as much as her listeners. Lyrics openly tackle sexual abuse, rape, abortion, and women’s rights. She boldly addresses the lack of LGBT rights in our society as well the ignorance about (and simultaneous obsession with) homosexuality, but her melodies keep songs accessible and fun. Lowell’s refreshingly rebellious approach is what stands her unique brand of sophisticated synth-infused pop apart from the rest.
Lowell will be supporting Money for four tour dates in the US this September.
