DRONES MARKS THE BAND’S FIRST NUMBER ONE ALBUM IN THE UNITED STATES
LONDON, UK – JUNE 17, 2015 – DRONES, the seventh studio album from UK-trio MUSE debuted at Number One on the Billboard Top 200 Chart selling 84,200 units its first week. The album, released on June 8th by Warner Bros. Records, is the band’s the first Number One album in the United States. In addition to the United States, Drones also debuted atop the charts in 19 countries around the world including: United Kingdom, France, Japan (Int’l Chart), Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, New Zealand, Ireland, Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong (Int’l Chart), Korea (Int’l Chart), Portugal, Russia (main chart), Singapore, and Taiwan (main chart).
