THE TRACK IS TAKEN FROM MISOGI’S BRAND-NEW ALBUM ESCAPE ARTIST OUT THIS

Rising London based producer and artist MISOGI (prod. AJ Tracey, Lil Yachty, Yeat, Dylan Brady / 100 Gecs) has today revealed details of his new single ULTRABLAST, taken from his new album ESCAPE ARTIST out this Friday, 7 July. ULTRABLAST is the follow up to recent single SHOEGAZING, featuring Dirty Hit’s No Rome and PINK NOISE (ft. Dream, Ivory) which have received great support at editorial playlists (The Other List, Alt Pop, The Indie List and New In Electronic).

Speaking about the making of ULTRABLAST, MISOGI says:

“In 2022 I held a remix competition for my single ‘Gossip’, with the winning track set to be uploaded to my SoundCloud page. One submission floored me so much that I wanted to give it the attention it deserved. It was by Grass Arrows and I asked him for the stems to that remix and then removed the Gossip acappella and the drums, structured it my way and added a bunch of stuff to it. I just recorded my own song on top of it which became ULTRABLAST. It goes to show that online collaboration can end up with you doing something you would never imagine.”

 MISOGI has also revealed details of an ESCAPE ARTIST album release party at Elsewhere in New York on 10th August, which will feature DJ sets from MISOGI, as well as members of his Pink Noise collective, Ginseng, Cedric Madden and Mike Frost.

MISOGI’s new album ESCAPE ARTIST, out 7 July is available to pre-order now, alongside a brand-new merch range and is his first full length release in nearly three years, following the release of 2020’s little*stars. MISOGI’s new single ULTRABLAST is out now.
