Today sees the release of The Horrors critically acclaimed fifth album ‘V’, via Wolf Tone/ Caroline International.
The album follows the brooding first single ‘Machine’, which showcases the group at their majestic, imperial best. ‘Something to Remember Me By’, was hailed as the band’s best work to date, with The Guardian saying it is “possibly their best song yet” and DIY Magazine declaring it “unstoppably euphoric, it’s maybe the best thing The Horrors have ever written”. The final pre-release offering from ‘V’, ‘Weighed Down’ shows the group at the peak of their powers, exhibiting a freedom and sense of exploration that feels truly liberating. The album was recorded at The Church in London with producer Paul Epworth (FKA Twigs, Lorde, Adele, Florence and the Machine, Coldplay and U2).
