Today (14th Sep), Headie One and K-Trap announce their long awaited and highly anticipated debut joint mixtape ‘Strength To Strength’, set for release on 22nd September via The Orchard (One Records and Thousand8). Park Chinois, the first official track to be taken from the tape is available now on all DSPs.

Undeniably two of the UKs biggest drill rappers, Strength To Strength has been years in the making with Headie and K-Trap first collaborating in 2017 on ‘No Convo’ from K-Trap’s debut mixtape The Last Whip. The duo followed this up with ‘Intent’ from Headie’s ‘The One’ tape a year later, working together on three further tracks, most recently in 2022 on ‘Extra Sleeve’ from K-Trap’s ‘The Last Whip II’. 

Headie and K-Trap dropped a joint Daily Duppy for GRM Daily this week, performing Catfish which features on the tape, watch the video here.

Last month Headie released More Money More Problems, his first new music following the hugely successful Martin’s Sofa in January which became an instant classic, hitting #1 on the Official Trending Chart and #9 on the Official Singles Charts. Strength to Strength is K-Trap’s first full release since his critically acclaimed project ‘The Last Whip II’ which peaked at #12 in the UK Official album Charts.
