Thus Love CONFIRM DETAILS OF SECOND LONDON SHOW ON 23 AUGUST AT THE LEGENDARY 100 CLUB

BAND TO PLAY SELL OUT SHOWS IN LONDON, BRISTOL AND LEEDS THIS MONTH, AS WELL AS FURTHER EUROPEAN GIGS

Praise for THUS LOVE:
‘Fabulous post-punk pop‘ – The Guardian
‘An energetic and thrilling demonstration of the hype’ – NME
‘There was an easy confidence about both the songs and the playing‘ – The Spectator
‘Memorial is a testament to THUS LOVE’s independence and strength of songwriting‘ – Clash
‘Some people walk the walk, and some people talk the talk. THUS LOVE do both.’ – Loud And Quiet

THUS LOVE have today confirmed details of a second London show on 23 August at the legendary 100 Club, with the band playing an already sold-out gig at the same venue the night before on 22 August. Tickets for the second show on 23 August are on sale from 10am BST on Friday 4 August here. The band’s UK shows in Bristol on 21 August and Leeds on 24 August are also sold-out. Full tour dates are listed below.

In addition to THUS LOVE’s headline UK shows this month, the band will play a number of festivals and European dates, including Green Man, Ypsigrock, Summer Well Festival and Paredes de Coura Festival. These summer gigs, which also include a headline New York date at Knitting Factory on 2 September, follow a run of brilliantly received UK and US shows earlier this year, including a sell-out gig at London’s The Windmill which NME described as ‘an energetic and thrilling demonstration of the hype’, as well as a series of standout performances at SXSW.

THUS LOVE released their critically acclaimed debut album Memorial in October last year to great support from the likes of The GuardianNMEClashLoud And Quiet and Rolling Stone, as well as consistent plays at UK radio from BBC 6 Music and Apple Music Radio.

THUS LOVE is a band but also so much more. The Brattleboro, Vermont trio stand together, a bond cemented by their experience as outsiders looking in. For THUS LOVE, DIY is an ethos that reflects not only their musical vision but their very existence as three self-identifying trans artists. From the band’s inception, Echo Mars (she/her), Lu Racine (he/him) and Nathaniel van Osdol (they/them) have designed and produced their own merch, and even created their own recording studio from scratch. THUS LOVE traces its beginnings to Mars’ and Racine’s serendipitous meeting at a local print shop in 2018, when the multi-instrumentalists agreed to collaborate on a new musical project. THUS LOVE’s lineup clicked into place when Mars and Racine were finally able to convince van Osdol to join on bass in 2019.
